The Warehouse Manager (Logistics) oversees all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.

They are responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of the warehouse to meet customer demands while maintaining cost-effective : -Inventory Management : -Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate inventory levels.

• Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records.-Monitor inventory turnover rates and adjust storage capacity as needed.
• Receiving and Dispatch : -Supervise the receiving process to ensure timely and accurate receipt of incoming goods.-Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies in received goods.
• Oversee the dispatch process to ensure timely and accurate shipment of orders.-Warehouse Organization : -Optimize warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
• Implement safety measures to ensure a safe working environment for warehouse staff.-Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse to facilitate smooth operations.
• Team Management : -Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including forklift operators, pickers, and packers.-Set performance objectives and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Provide coaching and guidance to staff to enhance productivity and efficiency.-Process Improvement : -Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Customer Service : -Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to meet customer demands.-Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding order status, shipping, and returns.
• Ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.-Budget Management : -Develop and manage the warehouse budget, including expenses related to labor, equipment, and supplies.
• Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities to meet budget targets.-Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance and financial metrics.
• Regulatory Compliance : -Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety standards and import / export regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation required for regulatory compliance.-Stay informed about changes in regulations and update procedures : -Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.-Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office applications.-Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.-Excellent communication and negotiation , from receiving materials to delivering finished products to customers.

They must possess a combination of leadership, organizational, and technical skills to succeed in this role.Salary $60K to $70K DOE
